About the Pre-law Minor

The Pre-Law minor is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a legal career or who want to gain a deeper understanding of the legal and political systems in society. It is also suitable for those considering a career in public policy or public service or those who plan to continue their studies at the graduate level.

The minor includes courses from various disciplines, such as criminal justice, economics, English, history, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, and women's & ethnic studies.

The focus of study for the Pre-law Minor is on developing critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as an understanding of legal principles, constitutional law, civil rights, and social justice.
